This 11″ x 15″ one-of-kind print is part of the These things of nature series. It was printed on rives BFK paper while the artist was a resident at Full Tilt Print Studio in Boston, MA during 2014.

Money digging was popular in early Nineteenth Century New England. Diggers would use folk magic to locate buried treasure and would seek this treasure using magical means, often in the middle of the night. Spirits guarded the treasure, and often moved the hidden money just before the diggers could retrieve it.
