Live performance during Manifest, the 9th Encuentro of the Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics
June 21-28, 2014
Concordia University, Montréal, Quebec, Canada
The artist wears clothing of his own design and creation. He invites participants one by one into a sanctuary of white linen for private performances. Each interaction is unique and spontaneous with references to personal and community narratives relating to the artist’s religious heritage, childhood memories, New England folk magic, and mid-nineteenth century fraternal rites.
